Game Rules

Objective: The primary objective of Pipedown is to be the first player to empty their hand of cards by strategically playing cards of matching suits or numbers.
Gameplay: Players take turns clockwise around the table, with each turn presenting the opportunity to play one or more cards from their hand.
Card Placement: Cards can be played in two ways:
- Players can match the suit or number of the previously played card.
- Players can strategically use special action cards to disrupt opponents' plans, skip turns, or change the direction of play.
Special Action Cards: Pipedown features a variety of special action cards, each with its own unique effect:
- Skip Card: Forces the next player to skip their turn.
- Reverse Card: Reverses the direction of play, causing the order of turns to reverse.
- Wild Card: Allows the player to declare a new suit, enabling them to strategically manipulate gameplay.
- Draw Two Card: Compels the next player to draw two additional cards from the deck, increasing their hand size and potentially prolonging their turn.
